AI Implementation

Find out what it will take to build your AI project.

Before you pay for a build, find out what it would take to make your AI idea work. The $5,000 AI Audit takes two weeks. You leave with a recommendation, an implementation blueprint, and a dated roadmap. We quote the build separately.

Answer the questions holding up the build.

A demo can work while the details of using it every day are still unresolved. We investigate those details with your team, from whether the data is usable to how you will check the result.

You have an AI idea but no implementation plan

Work out which approach could deliver the result you need and what it would cost to change the existing system.

You have a demo but have not tested it on real work

Check how the demo handles real data and who can access it. Agree on how to test reliability before putting it into use.

Customers want agents to use your product

Work through the task customers want to complete and what your API needs to support it. Include permissions and a way to see whether people use the connection.

The AI Audit

We investigate one agreed project with the people who know the work. You get the findings and a plan you can use, whether you hire us to build it or take it elsewhere.

$5,000Two weeks

A review of your current system

We sit down with the people who do the work and examine the software behind it. We identify what needs to change and what could prevent the project from working.

Options with a recommendation

We compare custom development with existing tools and explain our recommendation. That includes whether the project is worth doing now.

An implementation blueprint

A plan for the software changes and data the project needs. It includes dependencies and how we would check that the result works.

A roadmap you can take into the build

A dated 12-month roadmap for the agreed project, with the first 60 days worked out in detail. Your team can build it, you can hand it to another partner, or you can hire TheShop.

How the audit leads to a build.

You work with the people who will make the technical decisions and build the software.

  1. Review the systems and workflow

We examine the current work and software with your team. Before recommending a build, we agree on what should improve and how to measure it.

  2. Build the agreed project

If you hire us for the build, we agree on the scope and implement it in your existing systems. You review the working software with us along the way.

  3. Put it to work and check the result

We help the team use what we built and compare the result with where you started. We agree on any further development or ongoing support separately.

After the first release.

See how the change performs in daily use. We can stay involved, build the next milestone, or hand the work over to your team.

Improve from real usage.

Compare results with the starting point and use feedback to choose the next improvement. Agree on scope and budget before adding work.

Keep the workflow running.

Maintain the software as your systems and requirements change. Agree on monitoring, support coverage, and response expectations separately from the build.

Bring the work in-house.

Give your engineers the documentation and technical context they need to take over. We agree on any transition support together.

A few questions about working together.

Can you work with our CTO or existing engineers?

Yes. We work through technical decisions together and agree on who reviews the code. Your team keeps building the rest of the roadmap.

Can you stay involved after the first release?

Yes. We can continue development or maintain what we built under a separate scope. We can also document the work and help your team take over.

What does the audit cover?

One product feature or business workflow, agreed before we start. We decide which systems and questions to investigate within the two weeks, and who on your team needs to be involved.

Do we have to hire TheShop to implement it?

No. You keep the blueprint and roadmap. Build it with your own team, take it to another partner, or ask us to quote the work.

What will you need from our team?

We need someone who can make project decisions and arrange access to the relevant systems. We also need time with the people doing the work. We agree on that involvement before starting.

How will we measure the result?

We agree on what to measure before the build. For a reporting workflow, that could be time spent preparing each report. For an AI feature, it could be accuracy on the tasks people need it to do.

Tell us about your AI project.

Send us the idea or prototype and the questions you need answered. We will reply to discuss whether an audit fits the project.

Include the workflow, the result you need, and any deadline.
